This file and all elements of the QBBS computer bulletin board system are
copyright (c) 1989 by Lawrence Davis and Christopher McEwen. All rights
reserved.
Within the restrictions given below, you may:
(1) Freely use and distribute this and all QBBS programs and files.
(2) Freely modify and change the programs as you wish.
You may not:
(1) Distribute any files except in their entirety as distributed from
either Lawrence Davis or Christopher McEwen. This includes retaining all
history notes, source code, precompiled program files and all other files
included within the distribution libraries.
(2) Distribute any files which you or others have modified, except as
authorized by either Lawrence Davis or Christopher McEwen.
(3) Remove any credits given to the authors or contributors, or make any
claims of authorship. We will give full credit to contributors in the
source and history files.
(4) Gain commercial advantage from this or any QBBS module. This includes
selling the programs, or using them in a commercial environment. Please
contact the authors if you wish to have commercial use of this system. This
does not include restrictions against connect charges such as may be imposed
by Compu-Serve, GEnie, et cetera, or reasonable charges for copying.
Copying charges may not exceed $8 per disk.
POLICY:
It is our desire to promote the use of CP/M based computers as remote access
systems, and to encourage sysops and potential sysops in every way possible.
We include all source code with our files for the purpose of involving
others in our endeavors. You are invited to join in the development of the
QBBS system. Make submissions to the authors at the numbers given below.
The restrictions given on the distribution of the QBBS modules are for the
sole purpose of retaining control of the content, any potential commercial
advantage and integrity of the system.
