  4. copyright (c) 1989 by Lawrence Davis and Christopher McEwen.  All rights

  7. Within the restrictions given below, you may:

  9. (1)  Freely use and distribute this and all QBBS programs and files.
  10. (2)  Freely modify and change the programs as you wish.
  11.  
  12. You may not:

  14. (1)  Distribute any files except in their entirety as distributed from
  15. either Lawrence Davis or Christopher McEwen.  This includes retaining all
  16. history notes, source code, precompiled program files and all other files
  17. included within the distribution libraries.

  19. (2)  Distribute any files which you or others have modified, except as
  20. authorized by either Lawrence Davis or Christopher McEwen.

  22. (3)  Remove any credits given to the authors or contributors, or make any
  23. claims of authorship.  We will give full credit to contributors in the
  24. source and history files.

  26. (4)  Gain commercial advantage from this or any QBBS module.  This includes
  27. selling the programs, or using them in a commercial environment.  Please
  28. contact the authors if you wish to have commercial use of this system.  This
  29. does not include restrictions against connect charges such as may be imposed
  30. by Compu-Serve, GEnie, et cetera, or reasonable charges for copying.
  31. Copying charges may not exceed $8 per disk.

  35. It is our desire to promote the use of CP/M based computers as remote access
  36. systems, and to encourage sysops and potential sysops in every way possible.
  37. We include all source code with our files for the purpose of involving
  38. others in our endeavors.  You are invited to join in the development of the
  39. QBBS system.  Make submissions to the authors at the numbers given below.

  41. The restrictions given on the distribution of the QBBS modules are for the
  42. sole purpose of retaining control of the content, any potential commercial
  43. advantage and integrity of the system.
