  3.      There were a number of problems with the release version  of
  4. PBBS  5.0  which  was  released  on  October  09/90.   The   file
  5. PBBS50.FIX  explains  the changes which need to be  made  to  the
  6. PBBS50.MAC,  PMNT50.MAC  and PMSG50.MAC modules  to  correct  the
  7. problems that have been reported so far.

  9.      If the copies of all these programs (PBBS50.MAC,  PMNT50.MAC
  10. and  MSG50.MAC) within  your  distribution  library  PBBS-50.LBR)
  11. show  the  date  December 10/90 (using LDIR or  LUX),   then  our
  12. library already contains the correct files and no further  action
  13. need be taken.

  15.      These changes will fix all known bugs (as of December 10/90)
  16. in  version 5.0 of PBBS.  If you know of any more, please  report
  17. them to me as soon as possible.

  19. Note to Sysops:
  20.      Please  update the PBBS-50 library with these files,  adding
  21. PBBSFIX.TZT  and PBBS50.FZX.  Please ensure that all added  files
  22. carry the date December 10/90, so that the updated library can be
  23. differentiated  from the original release library, dated  October
  24. 09/90.   Alternately, a new release library,  named  PBBS-50A.LBR
  25. will be soon made available which contains corrected versions  of
  26. all  the PBBS modules.  Thank you for your co-operation  in  this
  27. matter and for your support and assistance in the distribution of
  28. all PBBS related products.
