  7.      The Trenton Computer Festival is now history, 
  8. probably the biggest and best within the many ACG-
  9. NJ  years  of  existance.   Our  present  archival 
  10. library of public domain software has now expanded 
  11. to  now  25 volumes ( 8 inch single  density  3740 
  12. compatable  diskettes ) with the merger of the  Z- 
  13. Users Group or Sacramento,  CA ( not the San Diego 
  14. Pascal  Users Group as mentioned in the May,  1981 
  15. column of ACG-NJ News ). Charlie Foster had agreed 
  16. in  March  to merge his own Public Domain  Library 
  17. (originally   intended  for  Pascal/Z  but   later 
  18. expanded   scopewise  to  all  CP/M  or   Pascal/Z 
  19. utilities/programs) volumes 1 thru 7.

  21.      Charlie  has  also agreed to be  a  part-time 
  22. editor  to  ACG-NJ  newsletter for Pascal  and  an 
  23. editor  to SIG/M.  Due to this merger we have  now 
  24. adopted the policy of having Regional SIG/M coord-
  25. inators   to   handle  local  internal   news   to 
  26. coordinators. They are :

  114. Trenton  Festival  Time was unbelievable.  Out  of 
  115. about 650 pre-copied diskettes about 450 were sold 
  116. to   all   present  (and  overflowing   into   the 
  117. hallways). We even had a group come from as far as  
  118. Indiana.

  120. We   are  sorry  we  did  not  have  any   copying 
  121. facilities for fellow members, but please remember 
  122. you  can copy at only Users Group Meetings for  $1 
  123. donation for copying.  All diskettes and  services 
  124. of  SIG/M  are STRICTLY VOLUNTEER and not paid  by 
  125. the ACG-NJ or NYACC computer clubs.  So..  if  you 
  126. order from SIG/M be patient (4 to 6 weeks).

  167. of  their  PUBLIC DOMAIN catalog of CPMUG (1  thru 
  168. 49) and SIG/M (1 thru 18) archival libraries.

  170. It contains the -Catalog.NNN
  171.             and Abstract.NNN  of all volumes
  172. The intended cost is $8 to 10.... well worth it
  173. It's  available  at  NYACC  meetings  and   ACG-NJ 
  174. meetings while the supply lasts.

  181. Trenton  was  a good meeting place but  let's  not 
  182. forget  that we are a NON-PROFIT computer club and 
  183. SIG/M  is part of it.  If you wanted  the  library 
  184. that much that you could have ....
  185. stormed the place.... then order thru channels. It 
  186. was  meant  only  as a service to make  the  disks 
  187. available for the Computer Faire. We could not run 
  188. the  Users  Group  as  a  "users  group  to  share 
  189. experiences".    Hopefully  we  will  get   larger 
  190. quarters  for the next meeting but let's  be  more 
  191. civilized.
