  1. Miscellaneous patches to VDE version 2.63
  2. Provided both as .ASM and .HEX files:

  5. KPCURKEY:     Fixes Kaypro 4/10 cursor keys to work without installing
  6.               alternate arrow key set in VINST.  Improves WordStar
  7.               compatibility.  Previously released as CKEYFIX.
  8.  
  9. KU-KH:        Changes ^KU (un-mark block) to ^KH, more like WordStar.
  10.  
  11. QMENUFIX:     corrects reveresed ^QY, ^QDel descriptions in ^JQ menu.

  14. Detailed assembly/overlay instructions are in KPCURKEY.ASM, and can be 
  15. applied for the other patches in this library.  I've already provided 
  16. .HEX files to use with DDT or MLOAD, so you really don't need to re- 
  17. assemble these files -- unless you want to make some changes of your 
  18. own.  Just take whatever patch you want and go:

  20. MLOAD NEWVDE=VDE263.COM,<whatever hex file>

  23. TABLES.TXT lists various useful addresses in VDE.  Some of this info is 
  24. already supplied with VDE but this file offers a little more, in a more 
  25. direct form.  If you find errors/omissions, please let me know.

  28. Editorial:  VDE is a terrific program; Eric Meyer is to be commended for 
  29. it.  With proper respect to the author and his program, please do NOT 
  30. distribute patched versions of VDE -- just the patch files themselves, 
  31. if you think there's broad enough interest for them.
