QTERM is a terminal program that runs
in CP/M mode. It provides both
X/Ymodem and Kermit file transfers,
plus transfer of ASCII text files
without a protocol. It also includes a
VT100 Emulator, Split screen operation
to separate your sent and received
text. In addition it has a powerful
script capability that can be used to
automate dialing, logging on to BBS's,
protocol transfers, capture and
transmission of ASCII text files, etc.
The version provided is preconfigured
for the C128 and a 1670 modem, and
works at 300 and 1200 Baud.
QTERM is nothing to do with Q-Link, the
name stems from when I wrote a "Quick
TERMinal" program in 1985: I've been
expanding it ever since.
SYSOP NOTE: QTERM is configured to use
CONTROL-O as the escape character
instead of CONTROL-backslash as
mentioned in the documentation.
The script capability is quite flexable
