  1. CPMUG ABSTRACT.092: Gary Youngs SECRTARY word processing program.

  3. SECRTARY is a combination editor / text formatter, using a syntax basedì
  4. upon Northstar BASIC.  Documentation is contained in .TXT files thatì
  5. must be processed through SECRTARY.COM to your printer.
  6.  
  7. It is not full screen, but is a nice, low-cost alternative to not havingì
  8. a word processor.  
  9.  
  10. Things to watch out for: 
  11. - Files must fit in memory.  
  12. - Files are not compatible with other CP/M utilities (TYPE, etc)
  13.   rather being in the old Processor Tech format (1 byte length,
  14.   then the text, then a C/R).
  15. - Commands are distinctly un-CP/M-like, i.e. ^S, ^U, and other CP/M 
  16.   "favorites" are ignored. 
  17. - If unspecified, drives default to A: (not to "logged in disk")
  18. - To print the manual, the .TXT files MUST be on B:, otherwise you'll 
  19.   have to edit each USERMANx.TXT and change the CHAIN B:USERMANx.TXT at
  20.   the end of each line.
