  3. This CD-ROM was made by Chicago Computer Broker

  5. This CD-ROM contains over 5000 of the newest shareware files.
  6. All of the files are from 1993 and were collected in OCT, NOV, AND DEC 1993.

  8. If you like this CD keep your eyes open for VOL 2 which will
  9. be coming out in MAY 1994.

  11. The Zipped programs on this CD-ROM are shareware and if you continue to use
  12. them then you should pay the registration fees. After all if no one payes
  13. the registration fees there would not be any shareware. So do your part
  14. and pay for those programs that you use.

  16. The Window files are in the WINDOW directory contained in 31 directories.
  17.  
  18. To read the file discriptions go into the directory and type list. You can
  19. then read any of the discriptions just highlight the name and hit enter.
  20. All the file descriptions are in two directories DOS files in DOS_TEXT.
  21. Window files descriptions in directory WIN_TEXT.

  24. To uncompress the files I suggest you use ZipMaster as I have found this
  25. to be the easiest to use. To run Zipmaster just type start. Another
  26. way to unzip the files is to copy pkunzip from the root directory
  27. to your harddrive then copy over the files you wish to unzip. Then
  28. type pkunzip then the file name.

  30. If you put the program list.com in your path dirctory you will be able
  31. to read the text files in the zipped files without unzipping the programs
  32. while using zipmaster.

  34. To view gif files I would suggest you use vpic which is in the helpfile
  35. directory.
