Thanks for purchasing Jack Nicklaus Golf & Course Design / Signature Edition
and for being patient in receiving this latest revision (v1.2a) at last, which
should take care of many of your golfing problems.
Here's the history regarding revisions:
REV 1.1
-------
o Fixed problem of hole disappearing after toggling between the Options screen
and the Edit Hole Screen in the Architect.
REV 1.2
-------
o Fixed bug that erroneously added a player to the Hole-In-One Club when
Quitting immediately after putting into the cup of any hole, no matter how
many strokes it actually took to putt out.
o Fixed graphics glitch caused by deleting members one by one in reverse order,
starting from the last member, until the entire Members' List was deleted.
o Fixed error in reporting sand saves (changed from cumulative total to
percentage per round).
o Fixed bug that caused game to dump to DOS when using the keyboard to change
the SKINS prize on hole 17 of any course.
o Fixed bug that always sunk a putt over 70 feet in the REVERSE ANGLE.
o Reworked code to ATTEMPT fix (since Accolade has been unable to reproduce
this bug) regarding "double ball" bug that causes the hole or ball shadow to
turn into another golf ball sometimes. FOR THOSE OF YOU HAVING THIS
PROBLEM, PLEASE LET US KNOW IF THIS REV HELPS.
REV 1.2a
-------
o Fixes a bug in the GOLF.EXE and DESIGN.EXE files that has been referred to
as the "Moses Effect." The bug affected the drawing of the 3/4 view. It
only showed up on holes that had more than 127 trees or other objects.
Visually, the bug showed missing pieces of the trees, often as a gap (or
gaps) in a solid wall of trees that stretched across the 3/4 view. As far
as the ball flight and ball collisions were concerned, the objects still
existed between the gaps, and thus, seemed to create an "invisible object."
Since neither Sherwood nor English Turn uses more than 127 objects on any
hole, the bug only showed up on user-designed courses.
