  18. O.K. I give up. I've been looking for either the chalice or 
  19. the jeweled dagger to give to the draracle for 3 days now.  
  20. I've used both the emerald stone and the sapphire.I've      
  21. looked on all 4 levels.I have the dagger and some stars and 
  22. a stick.I've wandered around so much I think I've been in a 
  23. hundred battles.HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  36. Hmm... I've found the chalice but not the dagger. As I      
  37. recall the chalice was in a chest towards the NE after using
  38. the blue gem on the north dragon face. Did you open the     
  39. chest? You need a lockpick. Just be sure to try it several  
  40. times since it takes practice sometimes.

  53. What level did you find it on? Where did you get the        
  54. lockpick? I've just been bashing the chests open with the   
  55. sledgehammer or weapons.Another day and I'm still looking   
  56. for either the chalice or the jeweled dagger.

  88. The lockpicks I've been picking up are scattered across the 
  89. lands. I know that there is definitely one in the thug's    
  90. caves. And there maybe one in a tree trunk somewhere. The   
  91. others, I'm not sure.

  105. HELP!!! I am stuck in Draracle Cave,fell in a hole and      
  106. rescued Lora but thats it,I am on the ground level and dont

  121. On the oppisite wall there is a switch which opens a wall to
  122. a ladder. go up the ladder and return to the pit. Just      
  123. before you fall down it go <--- and into a dead end. There  
  124. are 3 switches Blue, Green and Red. Press all 3 and the pit 
  125. on the top will close allowing you to pass. put something on
  126. the plate to open it and kill the bandits. proceed <-- and  
  127. kill more ratmen to recive the emerald eye. You'll find     
  128. a weak wall. Have Baccata smash it with the sledge you got  
  129. from the floor you found Lora on. Smash another wall to find
  130. another pit. Fall down to get the rest of Floor 2

  145. said,now I will start looking for more walls to knock       
  146. down??My trouble was that I didnt think to use the sledge as

  192. Do you remember where the two 'dragon pictures' are and you 
  193. have to place a green gem in the eye of the one on the east 
  194. side, and a blue gem in the one on the north wall??  Well,  
  195. if you went east, you'll find the jewelled dagger on the    
  196. same level.  If you went North, you'll find the chalice     
  197. somewhat NE in a chest.

  210. You seem to know a lot about this and are good at it.  I    
  211. don't have a lot of patience.  I am getting frustrated with 
  212. all of the ratmen that I have to fight. I have gradually    
  213. made some progress (into 3rd level a little), but give up   
  214. after all of the fights.  Is this the way it is going to    
  215. continue?  Any way to move along quicker and easier?  Maybe 
  216. I am just not a good FRP gamer!   Thanks, Rick

  228. Can anybody be specific on which level of the caves I should
  229. look for the jeweled dagger or the chalice I need for the   
  230. Altar?? I've replayed the caves different ways but to no    
  231. avail.Also--do I need a lockpick or can I just bash the     
  232. chests?? If so, where do I get one??? I really was enjoying 
  233. this game until now--I'm stuck-BIG TIME.

  246. Do you remember where the pictures of the dragons are and   
  247. you had to put the gems in the eyes???  Well if you went    
  248. east(green gem) you should have found the jewelled dagger.  
  249. If you went North(blue gem) you should have found the       
  250. chalice in a chest.  There is a pair of lockpicks behind the
  251. door where the thugs came out.  Yes, you can bash chests in.

  280.   Can someone tell me what level the dagger in, dagger out  
  281. nitch is on. I already got the note but I forgot where it   
  282. was. Just to make sure, when I find it, all I do is put the

  295. It's the same level where you put the gems in the eyes of   
  296. the dragon.  I think it's level 2.  You actually need two   
  297. daggers since you have to put one in, push the button, etc. 
  298. until the passage appears.

  344. I need some help! I am In the Draracle cave, I have been to 
  345. the 2nd level and all over the 1st level. I have tried the  
  346. three crystal buttons in varying patterns to no success. I  
  347. know there are other levels but I can't seem to locate the  
  348. entrance. Can any one give me a clue? Pleassssse!

  375. I have removed all of the pits by pushing the buttons in the
  376. order you suggested, I've gone on down the passageway,      
  377. through the door, and into the side corridors, even to the  
  378. pod room, but I still cannot see a way off of the level I am
  379. on. I have the bones, a sledge hammer, an emerald eye, two  
  380. daggers, a key several swarms, a horseshoe and a rock. Will 
  381. any of these items help me? and do the iron chain holers    
  382. have anything to do with getting to the next level?

  396. If I remember right, on the east side there is a wall that  
  397. is cracked. Use the sledge hammer in your weapon hand to    
  398. break down the wall.

  412. Equip Baccata's top hand with the sledge. This is an        
  413. effective weapon Vs the ratmen and Cavedwellers you'll run  
  414. into. In the room with the emerald eye you should find a    
  415. weak wall. Hit this with the sledge to crumble it. To hit it
  416. have Baccata attack. you should also have Lori if you don't 
  417. return to the pod room

  430. After leaving Draracle's Lair, I'm transported to an area   
  431. with a door...how do I open it? Also what is the Bezel Ring 
  432. used for? I didn't use the Emerald Eye since I went for the 
  433. Chalice...do I need to use the emerald and explore that     
  434. area?

  449. The door that you see is actually where you ended up after  
  450. talking to Drarcale.  Turn around and start climbing your   
  451. way out.  After you get out of the cave you will then find  
  452. out what you need to do next.  I have just gotten past that 
  453. point so that's about all I can tell you for now.  I've got 
  454. to figure it out also.                          Gerry

  498. I could really use some help.  I'm stuck on the third level 
  499. and can't open the lock on the wall.  I assume that this    
  500. leads to the fourth level and the Draracle but I just can't 
  501. seem to open it.  Is there another way to the Draracle?  I  
  502. already have the silver chalisem to give to him.  Now I just
  503. need him(G).  I've played it through several differnt ways  
  504. but nothing seems to work.  Any ideas?  Christie

  564. Help,                                                       
  565. Just recently started Lands of Lore and I'm already stuck.  
  566. I've found Draracles Lair but Draracle won't talk to me.  He
  567. keeps asking for an offering/gift.  What does he want and   
  568. where does it need to be placed?  I went back down to the   
  569. 4th level and left the goblet and the ring that I found.  I 
  570. placed it on the shelf in one of the walls.  What am I doing
  571. wrong?  Thanks for any help.

  585.     You have to look left of the dracule and you should see 
  586. and altar click on to that and you should get to the screen 
  587. over there and you put either the dagger or the chalice in  
  588. the box. Hope I helped.

  609. I am on the second level of the caves and I have ffound both
  610. gems put them in the dragons eyes, found the girl, found the
  611. niche in the wall "dagger in dagger out" put the a regular  
  612. dagger in pushed the button it closed up and a keyhole      
  613. appeared but i have no key that works for it, where do you  
  614. find the iron key? What do I do in the secrete cave where   
  615. there is a bronze ring? please help I still need to find    
  616. armor, dagger, trinket, and the chalice any help appreciated

  629. You won't find the chalice since you went east(green eye).  
  630. If you went north(blue eye) then you would have found the   
  631. chalice.  You can find either one or the other.  At the     
  632. dagger in dagger out niche, use the lockpicks to pick the   
  633. lock.

  646. Where do you find the lockpicks  I have no idea where they  
  647. are are there any keys for this lock or do I have to leave  
  648. the cave? so far I have found the bezel ring, crossbow, axe,
  649. green gem, saphire, back-biter, 2 swords, razor, stalletto, 
  650. and I found some armor but besides that nothing much.

  663. The back-biter??  Where did you find that???  Well, the     
  664. lockpicks I do believe is in the area where you had to kill 
  665. the bandits.  You have to put a rock on the plate to keep   
  666. the door open.  Hope this helps.

  705. Cover the pits??  I never had to cover any pits.  Some were 
  706. illusionary, put I dropped something down them and if they  
  707. disappeared, I didn't step on them.  I used swords on the   
  708. ratman.  For the Draracle, he is supposed to speak.  Did you
  709. find either the silver chalice or the dagger??

  722. There IS a pit that can be covered with a shield; in the    
  723. room immediatly before you enter the dreaded "spinning      
  724. room", there is a corridor blocked with pits.  There are    
  725. hidden buttons on either side which close all but the last  
  726. one.  Putting a shield over this pit closes it, giving      
  727. access to another room with a niche-which was empty when I

  803. I'm VERY dissapointed to say this but....you must start the 
  804. caves all over again. On Level 2 use the emerald eye with   
  805. the north head the sapphire with the west. In the passage of
  806. the sapphire dragonhead you'll find a secret wall in the    
  807. very north eastern portion. through it you'll be able to    
  808. find the Freeze spell and Silver Challace in a chest.

  839. You should have found lockpicks in either the thug's cave   
  840. near Gladstone (in a secret room), or in the room that the  
  841. Bandits come out of on the first level of caves.

  873. You should have found a blue gem in a chest.  Put the green 
  874. gem on the right wall and the blue one on the upper wall.   
  875. If you go through the upper on, you'll find the chalice     
  876. while if you go through the right wall, you'll find the     
  877. dagger.

  890. BTW - There is more to level 2 than the Pod room.  Go up the
  891. ladder to level one, and start looking for weak-looking     
  892. walls; they can be opened with the right tool.

  922. that has the 'dragon' pictures.  It is there.  If you put   
  923. the blue eye in the north wall, you'll find the chalice.  If

  1005. wants the silver chalice but I dont know where it is in the

  1022. one way.  If you open and follow the door behind the dragon 
  1023. to the north, you'll find a chest along the way.  In that

  1038. If you don't find the chalice after using one of the eyes,  
  1039. find the niche that says "dagger in, dagger out".  You      
  1040. should have 2 daggers you found in the caves. You put them  
  1041. in and I think push the button.  You may have to do that    
  1042. twice.  When a lock appears, pick it and there will be a new
  1043. passage and you will find the jewelled dagger.  This will   
  1044. also be acceptable to the Draracle.  Marketa
