  1. OPERATION VENDETTA

  3. The industrial targets in and around
  4. Kassel have proven to be tough nuts 
  5. to crack. Once again the B-17s have been
  6. sent in to wipe them out once and for
  7. all. Heavy losses are anticpated from
  8. Flak and enemy fighter opposition.
  9.  
  10.                 Mission Orders
  11.  
  12. You are the lead group of B-17s in the
  13. formation. Your mission starts with you
  14. already on your intial bomb run approach
  15. to the targets in the city. Your group
  16. is to bomb the railyards at Kassel.
  17.  
  18. You can anticipate heavy Flak and very
  19. stiff fighter opposition. Your escorts
  20. can handle some of them but the P-51Ds
  21. can't be everywhere, so you'll have to
  22. man your guns and fight them off.
