  2.                         VCR Tape Mission Descriptions

  4. The text below contains the desciptions of the missions contained in the
  5. RBVCR#2.ZIP file. All of these missions have had special hex changes made
  6. in them to make them something other than ordinary. My suggestion is to 
  7. make "play" copies of these tapes for flying yourself and keep my original
  8. tapes for reference and entertainment. I have tried to make the replays an
  9. entertaining presentation so as not to bore you. If you wish to fly these
  10. missions use your backup "play" copy to enter the simulation and see how 
  11. you do in them. I'll warn you that these pilots are no slouches! If you
  12. like these be sure to look for RBVCR#1.ZIP which contains the original batch
  13. of 6 VCR tapes for Red Baron. Let me know what you think if you have a 
  14. Prodigy account. Be sure to watch for my other files for LucasFilms' 
  15. "Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe" on a local BBS near you in zipped files
  16. named: SWOTL#1.ZIP, SWOTL#2.ZIP, SWOTL#3.ZIP, SWOTL#4.ZIP, SWOTL#5.ZIP, and  
  17. SWOTL#6.ZIP as of 4/01/92.

  22. 1. Escort.VCR       - You and your wingmen are escorting a single Handley
  23.                       Page bomber on a bombing raid of a railroad station.
  24.                       You are being opposed by some of Germany's best pilots.
  25.  
  26. 2. Patrol.VCR       - You and your wingman are on a patrol of the front lines
  27.                       on a cloudy and windy day. Lately, patrols have not 
  28.                       been returning and losses are mounting. Now it is your
  29.                       turn and you are just about to find out why the losses
  30.                       are so high.
  31.  
  32. 3. Hvyrecon.VCR     - You're flying a solo patrol on this mission and cruising
  33.                       along nicely. You catch a glint of sunlight below and
  34.                       as you look over the side you see 4 German aircraft in
  35.                       what appears to be a heavily fortified recon mission.
  36.                       As you begin your dive you identify the enemy aircraft
  37.                       as a Gotha G.IV bomber, Rumpler C.IV, Roland C.II and a
  38.                       Aviatik C.I.

  40. 4. Voss&Co.VCR      - You think you've had a rough time before. Now you've 
  41.                       really got your hands full. Instead of just one Werner
  42.                       Voss to contend with you and your squadron have to 
  43.                       deal with four silver Dr.Is each one piloted by Voss!

  45. 5. Sightsee.VCR     - This is a rather average engagement. You will take on
  46.                       several British planes in combat and then go on a 
  47.                       sightseeing tour of Paris landing back at your front
  48.                       line base after sunset. This is a very long tape.

  50. 6. Lonehntr.VCR     - You take your German scout on a solo mission in which
  51.                       you have to destroy 6 enemy balloons and 4 enemy scouts.
  52.                       You'll have your hands full just trying to survive!
