  13.         * Please start a new game to eliminate all possibilities that the
  14.         new version of the game fixes the bugs which you have seen so far.
  15.  
  16.         * The SETUP program does not require that you set the IRQ settings
  17.         for the sound card, only the Memory address and the DMA channel.
  18.         The normal Soundblaster defaults for this is, Address A220 and DMA 1.
  19.         If you find the game crashes before you have a chance to play then
  20.         this is likely the reason.
  21.  
  22.         * This update contains a new version of the DOS Extender, DOS4GW to
  23.         fix some compatibility problems seen with the earlier release.
  24.         DOS4GW is not a MicroProse program and we were not aware of these
  25.         compatibility problems until after UFO was published.  If you had a
  26.         problem running UFO, this update will fix that.

  28.         * Corrupt tiles that caused multiple images to appear have been fixed.
  29.  
  30.         * Action points have been limited to 80 to prevent the "wrap-around"
  31.         problem seen with the original release.
  32.  
  33.         * Mission variety has been improved to allow access to all types of
  34.         missions when playing.
  35.  
  36.         * Alien intelligence has been improved to allow a tougher game.
  37.  
  38.         * UFO encyclopedia has been expanded to include missing entries.
  39.  
  40.         * The corrupt game file, UBASE_07.MAP which caused problems when
  41.         entering the Alien Bases has been replaced.
  42.         
  43.         * There is no PC Speaker support within UFO.
  44.  
  45.         * The Environment Space error has been fixed.
