  3. Patch Installation Instructions:
  4. -------------------------------------------------------------
  5. 1) Copy the following files into the directory on your hard drive where 
  6.    you installed DUNE2.
  7.  
  8.    PATCH.EXE
  9.    PATCH.RTP
  10.  
  11. 2) From the DUNE2 directory, type PATCH at the DOS prompt 
  12.    and press <ENTER>.
  13.  
  14. 3) Wait until the patch process completes and then play
  15.    the game normally.
  16.  
  17. 4) If you have any problems or questions, please contact Virgin Games
  18.    Customer Service at (714) 833-1999.

  20. NOTE: Old saved games are incompatible with the Patch Update.  If you try
  21.       to load an old saved game, it will automatically restart at the
  22.       beginning of the appropriate scenario.
