Hi there, Nels,
I just downloaded Mahjongg 3.5 and I love it! I really enjoy
Tilemaker, too. By the way, the (registration) check is in the
mail.......yeah, right <g>!!!...(it really is!)
Anyway, I remember seeing on the Aviation conference that you had
recently gotten your Private Ticket - Congratulations! I have
had mine for 2 years now and for various and sundry reasons have
yet to break 100 hours!!!! But, I'm trying (now if only the
weather and my busy schedule would cooperate...).
But on to the matter at hand - in this ZIPFILE there is a tile
set I made one night (my first attempt at this sort of thing),
all based on aviation. Most of the symbols are taken off either
the sectionals, low altitude enroute charts or approach plates.
Basically, the suits are as follows:
Suit 1 Airports
Suit 2 Radio navaids (the NDB was tough!)
Suit 3 Various altitudes
Suit 4 Obstructions
Suit 5 Topographic/cultural features
Suit 6 IFR approach symbols
Suit 7 More IFR approach symbols...
Suit 8 More airports
"Suit 9" Enroute symbols (only 2)
Suit 10 Morse codes*
Suit 11 Airplane icons*
*Wildcard suits
You might look at these and see that I have made some sort of
error in the suits, but I think everything is OK. Making a tile
set is a good lesson in icon design!
Hope you enjoy them.
Later,
