Welcome. If you are reading this, then you obviously have a wish
to adventure. Perhaps you are a Dungeon Master in search of a
quick way to roll up characters to fill out your towns. Or a player
who plays in a campaign where you go through characters faster
than popcorn. Well, this program will fill all those needs. I used
official first edition AD&D rules in creating this program. All
the following features are included -
- Strength, Intelligence, Wisdom, Dexterity, Constitution,
Charisma & Comeliness randomly generated using the best
three out of five 'd6' and modified by racial and class
minimums, maximums, and bonuses
- Height and Weight randomly generated using the DMG's chart
by race
- Hit points generated as appropriate by class using Constitution
bonuses/penalties
- no character is allowed to have less than 3 hit points
- Armor Class (without armor) calculated including Dexterity
Bonuses
- Spells are randomly generated for Magic-Users and Illusionists
- M-U's and Illusionists are provided with spell points,
i.e. the number of spell levels a character can cast
per day. This is NOT an official rule, and can be ignored
by more 'traditional' players/DMs
- Thieving Abilities are added using all racial or Dexterity bonuses
- The Number of first level spells for Clerics and Druids is
calculated with modifications for high Wisdom
- THAC0, modified by high strength
- Damage bonus by strength
This program is shareware, so you are free to distribute
