  1. Operation Anvil
  2.  
  3. Late in the war the P38s made 
  4. extensive free ranging attacks on
  5. any ground targets of opportunity
  6. that they ran across. They were 
  7. also used on normal planned ground
  8. strikes against known targets.
  9.  
  10. In this mission you'll be starting
  11. at your own forward airbase and 
  12. heading towards an anemy controlled
  13. railyard to the east.
  14.  
  15. You will be flying bomb laiden P-38Js
  16. and escorted by two more P-38Js to and
  17. from your target.
  18.  
  19. You'll have to be on your toes on all
  20. the time because the Luftwaffe has 
  21. been very active in this area and is
  22. not going to let you pass unscathed.
