Hampton Manor has had a dark history. Murder, suicide and disappearances
have gone on for almost 100 years. Even as an author of horror, you feel a
little uneasy. You have had nightmares about the place and some of them
seemed a little too real. The last family to have lived there disappeared
a little over seven years ago. Since then the manor has remained empty.
Your publicist, Charle, was the last person to have been in the manor.
He was checking the place out in advance of your arrival. The doctors are
still trying to help him.
Once at the manor, feel free to wander around. Explore the area inside and
out. You may meet some interesting...friends?! I'm sure they will like
you once they get to taste...er, know you. The first thing to do is get inside
the manor. Charle hid the key, but since he's not talking too coherently, your
secretary isn't sure of the location of the key. Try to find out what's been
going on at the manor for the last 100 years. And whatever you do,
DON'T GO IN THE BASEMENT! Well, I guess maybe a little peek is okay. But don't
say I didn't warn you.
Hampton Manor has over a hundred locations to visit. It is an interactive
fiction adventure. The difficulty level is intermediate.
