GAMBLER'S MATE: Football Edition 1990 -- A Shareware Application

I have included all plays, as I had them, for the 1990 season. This
document had been added into this package as a legitimate account of
the success of the GAMBLER'S MATE: Football Edition 1990.
By registering GAMBLER'S MATE: Football Edition 1990 and 1991, BEFORE
week one of the 1991 football season, you'll become a CHARTER member and
save $10 over the 1991 edition's $50 fee (pay only $40 for both). As a
CHARTER member, you'll also earn the right to receive a LIFETIME 20%
discount on all future Football Editions, from GAMBLER'S MATE, starting with
the 1992 licensing agreement. The UPCOMING 1991 Football Edition, as well

-GAMBLER'S MATE: Thoroughbred Edition - DOSAGE MASTER v2
This program is still under construction but more than 98% completed.
Dosage is a system that attempts to predict the distance potential of
horses based on certain sires in the first four generations of their
pedigrees. These certain sires are called chefs-de-race (french for
"chiefs of the breed").
Chefs are divided into five aptitudinal categories: Brilliant,
Intermediate, Classic, Solid and Professional. The categories
correspond to a range of distance potential from Brilliant (highest
speed and lowest stamina) to Professional (lowest speed and highest
stamina). Classic represents the "ideal" balance of speed and stamina.
Many chefs are assigned to two categories and their "points" split
between those two categories.
I have found that this program, even in its rawest form, has a distinct
advantage in the three year old triple crown races and their preps. If
you have not heard, this method is undefeated since 1929 (yes!) in the
Kentucky Derby. Horses with the allowable range of acceptable numbers
(Dosage Index of 4.0 or less and Center of Distribution of 1.25 or
less) that are calculated, have never lost a derby! Quite an
impressive streak, wouldn't you say?! The system had Unbridled (1990
Kentucky Derby winner) who paid $21.60 for a single $2 wager.
Dosage Master features the ability to calculate, display and print any
thoroughbred's dosage index, dosage profile and center of distribution.
I have also added a facility that allows the adding of new Chef-de-Race
sires as they are added by the Bloodlines staff in the Daily Racing
Form. This allows the user perpetual use of DOSAGE MASTER v2. Send me
a postcard or email if interested. It will be incentive to finish and
publicly release Dosage Master. Let me know what BBS you read this on
and also your experiences in horse racing and using the dosage method.
