  9. *** Quick Upgrade Instructions For Existing Users ***
  10.  
  11. Please follow these steps for a quick upgrade:
  12.  
  13. 1) Extract the files in ACEW10.ZIP to a temporary directory.  Run
  14.    the new SETUP.EXE from Windows or at the DOS prompt type: Win
  15.    SETUP (Be sure you are running the SETUP.EXE from ACEW10.ZIP)
  16.    SETUP will overlay the files needed to update and existing
  17.    AceCom installation.  You need only verify the target
  18.    directory for the upgrade.

  21. 4) After SETUP has finished you can use the File Manager to
  22.    delete the temporary directory.  You can now run the new
  23.    upgrade for AceCom for Windows.

  27. *** Standard Installation ***
  28.  
  29. Follow this easy one-time installation procedure:
  30.  
  31. 1) Create a temporary directory to hold the aceCom related files.
  32.  
  33. 2) Extract the files in ACEW10.ZIP to the temporary directory.
  34.  
  35. 3) Run the new SETUP.EXE from Windows or at the DOS prompt type:
  36.    Win SETUP (Be sure you are running the SETUP.EXE from
  37.    (Be sure you are running the SETUP.EXE from ACEW10.ZIP)
  38.  
  39.    SETUP will guide you along the installation process.  AceCom's
  40.    SETUP is very simple and straight forward.  You will be
  41.    presented with a default directory for the install.  You
  42.    have the opportunity to specify the target directory for the
  43.    install.  You can cancel SETUP at any time along the way.
  44.    SETUP does NOT copy or alter any files on your hard drive out
  45.    side of the target directory. AceCom's SETUP provides a CLEAN
  46.    install.

  48. 4) After SETUP has finished you can use the File Manager to
  49.    delete the temporary directory.  You can now run the new
  50.    upgrade for AceCom for Windows.

  52. 5) SETUP will initially add a new group to Program Manager.
  53.    You can access the AceCom program by double clicking on the
  54.    AceCom ICON.

  57. That's all there is installing AceCom.  When AceCom is activated
  58. for the first time, a few one-time only dialog boxes are
  59. displayed. AceCom initializes it's configuration files, and
  60. prompts you for a default serial port and modem.

  68. This program requires Windows 3.1, 3.11 or Windows for
  69. Workgroups.  Some optional features require external programs.
