  4. This is programmed in Microsoft Visual Basic
  5.  
  6. This program archives your data on another hard disk.
  7. It copies any data below the source directory.
  8. It works like 'xcopy /s/e/m' but brings the user some comfort:

  10.     - it works with WINDOWS 3.xx
  11.     - you only need the mouse, to work with this program 
  12.     - fast daily backup
  13.     - the first backup will be complete, later it only copies new or 
  14.       changed data.
  15.     - old data on the target drive will be killed
  16.     - system and hidden files will also be copied
  17.     - adjustings of the last backup are offered as default

  20. The Program's Mode of Operating:
  21.  
  22. First of all, it deletes all data and directories that exist only on the 
  23. target disk, but not any longer on the source disk.
  24. After this, copying will be started.
  25. At the first start of this program, or if the user has changed a directory 
  26. or a drive, a complete backup will be started. Every folowing backup will 
  27. only copy new or changed data. The program also copies system and hidden 
  28. files. As this Program uses the file-atribut 'ARCHIVE', you should not change 
  29. this atribut. Please choose the target drive and directory very carefully, 
  30. because you may lose data. File- manipulations at the target drive will not 
  31. be checked by this program. If there is any data- problem on the target disc,
  32. a complete backup will solve the problem.

  56.    Start the program 'SETUP.EXE' from disk 1(2) while running WINDOWS-

  75. You are able to get some free Bytes on harddisk, if you move all files
  76. (not: SICHERE.EXE, SICHERE.DAT, LIESMICH and README) to the directory
  77. '\WINDOWS\SYSTEM'. Some of this files might already exist in the directory
  78. '\WINDOWS\SYSTEM'. Please don't overwrite the file- versions of recent 
  79. date. Perhaps, you may have any problems with other programms, take care 
  80. that you are able to restore the original installation.
