  1. POOLMASTER(tm) version 1.0 from Micro Amusement Corporation

  3. Welcome to POOLMASTER.  POOLMASTER will give many exciting hours of 
  4. interactive entertainment.  In order to enjoy POOLMASTER's best graphic
  5. display, we recommend that your Windows video resolution be set to
  6. 800 X 600 or 1024 X 768, with a palette of 256 colors (please consult
  7. your Windows manual).  These resolutions automatically offer a higher
  8. degree of accuracy and a professional size game table.  Playing POOLMASTER
  9. in 640 X 480 resolution is no less fun, but the game table is likened more
  10. to a standard coin operated bar room size table.
  11.  
  12. POOLMASTER will also let you sharpen you billiard skills for the real
  13. world, especially when using the 'Undo' and 'English' features.
  14.  
  15. You will soon experience the excitement of aiming and shooting and 
  16. watching all of the balls follow their own interactive course.  And
  17. with a 16-bit sound card, POOLMASTER's sound effects add an entirely
  18. new dimension to the games.

  20. POOLMASTER includes a host of games:  Eight Ball, Nine Ball, Rotation
  21. and Billiards, every one with pinpoint accuracy.

  23. Don't forget to register POOLMASTER, with the enclosed Registration
  24. Card.  It's important that you do so, to be advised of enhancements
  25. that will be added to POOLMASTER in later versions (such as POOLMASTER
  26. modem play, modem tournament play for cash prizes, user definable tables, 
  27. and 3-D virtual reality).
