  2.  READ THIS CAREFULLY ONLY IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS INSTALLING!

  4. The MD setup.exe program will ****ONLY**** create one (1) subdirectory right 
  5. off the root to install MD on.
  6.  
  7. You MAY specify: 
  8. drive:\dirname (such as c:\md)
  9.  
  10. You MAY NOT specify: 
  11. drive:\dirname1\etc (such as c:\educate\md)
  12.  
  13. ( unless c:\educate\md already exists! )

  16.  IN A NUTSHELL:  
  17. ================
  18. Keep things simple (and working):
  19. Install MD in a directory right off the root such as c:\md 
  20.  
  21. Signs of a "bad" install are a way-too-quick installation time and a 
  22. generic icon installed for MD instead of the MD icon.  And MD will 
  23. not run since the directory it was supposed to be installed in was never
  24. really created!  If this happens to you delete the generic icon, delete 
  25. the MD group, and then follow the directions above.
