THINKER v4.0
Copyright (c) 1994 Jim Blessing
All rights reserved
Thank you for obtaining this version of the THINKER game!
To install THINKER :
1. Be sure that you have the following six files on a floppy diskette
or on your hard drive.
THINKER.EXE README.1ST
THINKER.ICO INSTALL.EXE
SCORES.VNE INSTALL.INI
If using a diskette, place the diskette in the appropriate drive.
2. From your hard drive start Windows 3.1 (or better).
3. Select File/Run from the Program Manager menu.
4. Enter A:INSTALL.EXE as the file to run.
Note ...
This assumes that the THINKER files to be installed reside in the
root directory of a floppy diskette in your A: drive.
If necessary, replace A: with the appropriate drive letter and path.
For example, if the files to be installed are on a diskette in your
B: drive, in a directory named \MYDIR, the correct entry would be:
B:\MYDIR\INSTALL.EXE
5. Click on OK. Wait for INSTALL to load and run.
6. Specify the Destination Path ...
As a default, THINKER will be installed on your C: drive in a directory
called \Thinker. If you would like to place the THINKER files on a
different hard drive, or in another directory, you may specify this
path in the "Install To" Dialog Box. Enter just a path, not a file name.
Click on OK when ready.
7. Specify the Origin Path ...
If the source drive and path (containing the THINKER files) are different
from the default shown in the "Install From" dialog box, change them now.
Enter just a path, not a file name. Click on OK when ready.
Thinker will become part of Window's standard GAMES group. If for some
reason the GAMES group is not present, it will be created by the
installation process. The THINKER icon will appear when the installation
is complete.
Once again, thanks for trying Thinker on the shareware plan. If you enjoy
