I have spent the last 6 months researching and developing MTUSpeed. Additionally, providing email support to it's users takes about 1 to 2 hours each evening. Consequently, I feel that asking for a small contribution for my efforts is not unreasonable. I do not wish to make MTUSpeed shareware and the software is not, therefore, crippled in any way. It will NOT time out and it will NOT disable any features after a certain time.
This is purely a voluntary contribution. I realise that many people will not wish to pay money for such a utility and will continue to treat it as freeware. However, it's a free world and if I locked it then someone would soon post a crack on one of the warez groups.
The average user sees an increase in throughput of around 25% to 30% after using MTUSpeed. If you pay a phone bill and don't have free phone access to the internet this could reduce your phone bill by a similar amount (or if you are like me, it will stay the same but you'll get more done).

This is a once only payment and you should be aware that this "pays" for all your future versions of MTUSpeed.
