  8. largest
  9. telecommunications customers, 70% reported toll fraud losses that
  10. averaged $125,000 in the past five years.

  14. The April 12, 1993 edition of Information Week has a cover story on

  17. 35) for the full details.  One amusing quote from an unnamed

  19. analyst..."Companies would rather admit their CEO is an alcoholic
  20. than acknowledge a security break."

  22. Webster's Adds Nerdspeak

  24. The next edition of Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, due
  25. out
  26. May 3, 1993, will add several computer-related words.  The company
  27. says these words have become common enough that people outside of
  28. the
  29. computer industry may need to look up their meaning.  Some of the
  30. words
  31. added include "computerphobe", "technobabble", "vaporware", and
  32. "voice mail".
