  6. "DRG" = my acronym for Directory Report Generator.

  8. By now you would have unpacked DRG.LZH and thus have the following files :

  10. DRG_READ.1st = This file
  11.  
  12. DRG.BAT      = My interactive batch-program  (manages SDL.COM), 
  13.                to generate various directory reports, which are
  14.                     either displayed on your screen
  15.                     or printed on your printer
  16.                     or sent to an editable diskfile named DIRFIL   
  17.  
  18. DRG.DOC      = My documentation for DRG.BAT
  19.  
  20. SDL.COM      = W.C.Bodycomb's v.3.0 of a parameter driven directory generator.
  21.                SDL is called from DRG.BAT
  22.  
  23. SDL.DOC      = Documentation for SDL.COM
  24.  
  25. ANSWER.COM   = A program (author unknown) enabling user entry of a string-value
  26.                for an environment-variable named %ANSWER% from a .BAT file
  27.                ANSWER is called from DRG.BAT

  29. ANSWER.DOC   = Documentation for ANSWER.COM

  32. FLASHSET.COM = Jim Tucker's program, sends control-code-sequences to printer.
  33.                FLASHSET is called from DGR.BAT 
  34.                The control-code-sequence occurs as one line in DRG.BAT and
  35.                that line in DRG.BAT reflects my use of an EPSON LQ500 
  36.  
  37. FLASHSET.DOC = Documentation for FLASHSET.COM

  40. Please  note  that in the above file-list, all .DOC and .BAT files  are  plain 
  41. vanilla  non-paginated ASCII files.  Each can be printed on one page,  if  you 
  42. preset your printer to 12 cpi and 8 lpi and then do a  " COPY fname PRN " .
  43.  
  44. I am dedicating DRG to the public domain. It "works for me".  It may work  for 
  45. others, as long as they understand that I am releasing it as free information, 
  46. and merely as a record of my work, done and published in good faith.
  47.
