{ Disk Distributors, please put this next paragraph in your Catalog }
PAYROLL USA is probably the most comprehensive payroll system on the ShareWare
market. It is also better than most commercial payrolls. Works in ANY State.
and interfaces to ANY Accounting System (even manual bookkeeping). It does
EVERYTHING, maintain employee info., calculates pay and taxes (yes, it can
handle California SDI), prints checks or payslips (with option for direct bank
transfers) check register, payroll register, summary journal, even does 941,
940, W-2, and Quarterly State Unemployment List. Handles taxes on Employee
Benefit Plans. Can also export files to Lotus, Quattro, dBASE, etc. Also
handles multiple pay frequencies, and Accountants doing client payroll will
appreciate its ability to handle multiple employee files. Complete
documentation on disk ready to print out. Needs minimum 512K installed RAM and
a hard disk. Runs on IBM XT, AT, PS/2, and 286/386 compatibles. If you are
looking for payroll you MUST try this one.
************************************
We also have an equivalent Canadian Payroll System PAYROLL CANADA. Contact us
if you have subsidiary companies in Canada, or otherwise have a need for it.
FILE LIST
---------
A complete set of files for PAYROLL USA Vers. 3.10 is distributed on 2 360K
5 1/4 inch diskettes. BBS operators may wish to further compress each
diskette into a large ZIP file then post each of the two resulting large ZIP
files on their board with this PAYUS31.TXT information file, if possible,

will be worthwhile.

INSTALLATION FROM DISKETTES
---------------------------
If you received the two diskettes, put disk 1 in drive A and type
A:
CD \
INSTALL
then insert disk 2 when prompted.
INSTALLATION FROM MODEM DOWNLOADS
---------------------------------
If you downloaded the disks over your modem as two large ZIP or ARC etc. files
then they must be unpacked first onto whichever directory you use to test
downloads, or onto diskettes. They can both be unpacked onto the same disk or
directory. Once unpacked run the INSTALL program and it will do the rest for
you.
If you experience any difficulty with the INSTALL program you may install the
files manually. The DOS commands to do this (assuming your hard disk is drive
C and you unpacked the two large ZIP or ARC files onto a directory called
\DOWNLOAD) would be:
C:
MD \PAYSLIDE
CD \PAYSLIDE
COPY \DOWNLOAD\PKUNZIP.EXE
PKUNZIP \DOWNLOAD\PAYUS31A
PKUNZIP \DOWNLOAD\PAYUS31B
DELETE PKUNZIP.EXE
MD \PAYPGMS
CD \PAYPGMS
COPY \DOWNLOAD\PKUNZIP.EXE
PKUNZIP \DOWNLOAD\PAYUS31C
PKUNZIP \DOWNLOAD\PAYUS31D
PKUNZIP \DOWNLOAD\PAYUS31E
DELETE PKUNZIP.EXE
RUNNING PAYROLL USA
-------------------
Decompressing the ZIP files is a one time job. It need never be done a second
time. Once decompressed, whether manually or by the INSTALL.EXE program, you
can run the component programs as follows:
To see the Slide Show or print the Documentation:
C:
CD \PAYSLIDE
RUNSLIDE
To use the PAYROLL USA system:
C:
CD \PAYPGMS
PAYUSA
