  11. THE SHAREWARE CONCEPT

  13.   Shareware is licensed commercial software which the authors make available
  14.   on a try-before-you-buy basis.  Users may evaluate a Shareware product for
  15.   a set period, by the end of which they must either pay for the product
  16.   (known as Registration) or stop using it.
  17.  
  18.   Copying of Shareware, subject to the above conditions, is not only allowed,
  19.   it is encouraged.  Pass copies on to interested friends and colleagues.
  20.   Shareware authors rely on the integrity of users to abide by the conditions
  21.   of the license, and register the product if they want to continue using it.
  22.   Many, like ARK ANGLES, also give added benefits to users who register.

  25. ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

  27.   This program is Shareware, and may be freely copied and distributed subject
  28.   to the terms described in the VENDINFO.DIZ file.  The program may be tried
  29.   out for up to 30 days without charge, after which users should register it
  30.   or cease to use it.

  33.   is licensed software, and copying or using it without paying for it, except

  39.   Use of the evaluation product beyond the set evaluation period is a breach
  40.   of copyright and is against the law.  But apart from the legal obligation,

  53.   A Single licence is A$25, US$22, £15, Dm35, ¥2500 or equivalent.  This
  54.   licence allows for use of either the DOS or Windows version of the program
  55.   by one user or on one machine, and entitles you to all the benefits listed
  56.   above.  Wholesale and quantity discounts are available.

  58.   A Room licence is A$50, US$44, £30, Dm70, ¥5000 or equivalent.  This
  59.   licence allows unlimited copies to be used in one classroom or office,
  60.   and is ideal for schools and colleges.

  62.   Larger site licenses and enterprise licenses are also available.

  64.   A Kiosk licence is A$200, US$175, £120, Dm280, ¥20000 or equivalent.  This
  65.   licence allows public use on one machine, and provides a full screen
  66.   tamper-proof Windows version of the program with space for advertising.

  72.   Updates are released regularly, and unregistered copies of the latest

  79. HOW TO REGISTER

  81.   Nothing is simpler.  We accept cash (of course), cheques (but may wait for
  82.   them to clear if they are large amounts), credit cards (AmEx, Bankcard,
  83.   Visa or Mastercard only), bank drafts or postal/money orders.

  85.   Credit cards will always be billed in Australian dollars (A$) so you get
  86.   the latest and best exchange rate.  Cash, cheques, drafts etc can be in
  87.   Australian dollars or your local currency.  Calculate local currency prices
  88.   from any of the published International prices at the current exchange rate.

  90.   There are five easy ways to register:

  92.   1. PHONE:  Get your credit card ready, and the details of your equipment as
  93.      listed in the ORDERFRM.TXT file.  Then call (047)588100 for Australian
  94.      customers or Intl+61-47-588100 for International customers, and leave
  95.      your ordering information with the operator or answering machine.

  97.   2. FAX:  If you have a fax card on your computer, then simply edit the file
  98.      ORDERFRM.TXT with all the necessary information, otherwise print it and
  99.      fill it in manually.  Make sure all your credit card info is there, then
  100.      fax it to (047)588638 for Australian customers or Intl+61-47-588638 for
  101.      International customers.

  103.   3. POST:  Print ORDERFRM.TXT and fill it in.  Include credit card info,
  104.      or cheque, draft or money order and post to ARK ANGLES at P O Box 190,

  107.   4. E-MAIL:  Insert ORDERFRM.TXT into a note, fill it in with your credit
  108.      card information, and send it to 100237.141@compuserve.com on Internet
  109.      or 100237,141 on CompuServe.   Your credit card details can be encrypted
  110.      by CATALOG.EXE.
