  3. Welcome to Word Solitaire -- twelve games of word-making fun!

  8. To install Word Solitaire on your computer, simply 
  9. double-click the "setup.exe" program that is included in this
  10. package. When it's finished, you can play Word Solitaire by 
  11. clicking on the Start button and selecting "Word Solitaire"
  12. from the Programs menu.

  17. Word Solitaire is distributed as shareware.  This means you 
  18. are free to evaluate it for a limited time (10 days), and 
  19. that if you continue to play it after this period, you must
  20. send a license fee ($20) to the author to "register" your 
  21. copy of the program.

  23. Of course, nothing bad happens after 10 days.  So really, 
  24. this just means that I personally would really appreciate it
  25. if you would send in your registration.  Why should you?
  26.  
  27. * Because it gives you a chance to offer feedback/suggestions.
  28. * Because it helps me improve the game and write more like it.
  29. * Because it gets rid of the annoying shareware reminders
  30.   and removes the 45-game limit.
  31. * Because it helps support the shareware game industry, 
  32.   which brings you low-cost, high-quality games like this.
  33. * Because it's the right thing to do.
  34. * Because it's so cheap -- the price of a large pizza!

  36. So how do you register?  Just print out a copy of the 
  37. ordering form found in the file ORDER.TXT.  Fill it out and 
  38. send it along with a check for $20 (U.S. dollars) to:
