  1. To Install DEATHMATCH I or DEATCHMATCH II
  2.  
  3. FOR HELP CALL 612-646-8967 or FAX 612-646-1675

  5. 1. Insert your DEATHMATCH cd rom into your cd-rom drive.
  6.  
  7. 2. Goto your cd rom drive root directory (ie, d:\)
  8.  
  9. 3. Type INSTALL
  10.  
  11. 4. At the DEATHMATCH install screen follow the directions
  12.    and enter the proper information.
  13.  
  14. 5. Deathmatch is now installed in your DOOM I and 
  15.    or DOOM II directories.
  16.  
  17. To Run DEATHMATCH I or DEATCHMATCH II
  18.  
  19. 1. Goto the DOOM I or DOOM II directory.
  20.  
  21. 2. Type in the word "dmatch" then press the enter key.
  22.  
  23. 3. When you are asked for the letter of your CD-ROM drive
  24.    enter only the letter for example  D  if it is D:
  25.  
  26. 4. You may click on the help button on each screen and then 
  27.    print.   This is the manual to use with the program.
  28.  
  29.    Note: You must have a properly installed mouse with a
  30.          DOS driver installed.

  32. TROUBLESHOOTING ADDENDUM
  33.  
  34. If you require Technical assistance to run DEATHMATCH for DOOM
  35. please read the help screens or you may call the Help line as listed 
  36. on the paper insert.

  38. Here are some notes on some common problems:
  39.  
  40. I can see the install screen and do the install but DEATHMATCH does
  41. not run ????.
  42.  
  43.       -Type in dmatch at the DOOM directory
  44.       -If you are using QEMM you may need to free up more
  45.         video memory, refer to the QEMM manual.  You may
  46.         be able to add "X=A000-BFFF" on your QEMM configuration
  47.         line in the CONFIG.SYS file. Please refer to your documentation.
  48.       -This product will not work with the norton smartdrive.
  49.       -Do not use QEMM or EMM386.
  50.  
  51. My mouse will not work ????
  52.  
  53. You must have and use a MOUSE with this product.  The 
  54. DOS mouse driver must be installed.
  55.  
  56. The dmatch menu comes up but there is no information on the 
  57. Levels menu ????.
  58.  
  59. Make sure the DEATHMATCH CD_ROM is in your CD-ROM 
  60. drive.
