Labels:text | screenshot | font | violet | purple OCR: The dark blue hood of the monks- hood appears in moist woods and alpine meadows from late June through July. Its leaves are deep- toothed and 3 to 5-lobed. A smaller sub-species, the dwarf monkshood, grows higher on rock slopes and usually has only one flower. Both are extremely poisonous if eaten.
