  6. This is the program that hopefully will set the new standard for composing.
  7. Fast Tracker 2 is good, but it lacks many things that we've added. ST3 is
  8. easy to use, but it lacks e.g a sample editor. We tried to combine all
  9. this into one program. It has got many options to satisfy as many as
  10. possible, but of course it's impossible to please everyone.

  13. Because we were in a hurry, we didn't have the time to include a proper setup,
  14. so we've included 2 config files instead. If you are used to ST3, copy the
  15. file ST3.CFG to VS.CFG, and if you're used to FT2, copy the file FT2.CFG
  16. to VS.CFG and you have a default setting to match your habits.

  18. The sampleeffect editor isn't really finished yet, as you probably noticed.
  19. We will of course have it ready in the final version.

  21. There's also some known bugs in the program... 16 bits sampling on GUS MAX
  22. doesn't work yet, since I haven't got the needed info... If anyone has
  23. more info on the CODEC, PLEASE send it to us!

  26. This version was released at TP5, and it's possible that new releases will
  27. come during the party, so check table 73 at the end of the TP5.

  30. If you encounter bugs in the program please report them to us ASAP. Check
  31. the file "report.frm".
