To install this theme, simply double-click the .exe file that was included in the same .zip file in which this document was located.
***IMPORTANT NOTE***
The *.ttf files (the font files) will not be automatically placed in the correct location. You must cut and paste them into the "Windows\Fonts" folder yourself.

Please note that our newest and also refreshed packages will have 2 .theme files, one for Windows 98 and one for Windows 95. Both .theme files are compatible/interchangable with either but using the specific file for your Windows version will show the theme at its fullest potential.
A Better View has not included any screen savers or logo screens with vacation packs.
If you are experiencing any problems when playing .wav files, please try the following:
1) Open Control Panel and double click Add/Remove Programs
2) Click on the Windows Setup tab then highlight Multimedia
3) Click the Details button and check the box labled Audio Compression
4) Click OK and follow any procedures that Windows 95/98 might ask (you might need to reboot your system)
5) A Better View's newest themes use the MP3 wavfile compression format. If your system does not support this .wav format, go to http://web.wt.net/~bettervw/index3.html
and click on the Vacation Essentials page. Download the file for MPEG Layer-3 codec and install.
All of our vacation packs are designed for 800X600 display sizes with High Color settings. You must have either Windows 98 or Windows 95, Microsoft Plus! or another theme executing program in order to travel with A Better View. If you do not have a theme executing program, please visit our home page and go to the Vacation Essentials page. Download the freeware program Desktop Architech and also download iconcolor.exe. With these programs, you will be able to run our vacation packs at their fullest potential.
