The Alberta Badlands is one of western CanadaΓÇÖs greatest tourist attractions. It is home to Dinosaur Provincial Park, where you can see one of the largest collections of fossils from the late Cretaceous period. The area was designated a World Heritage Site by the United Nations in 1979.
