Hi there,
These are the instructions for installing, loading, and using the
files on this disk. It is relatively simple to operate, so i will be brief.
Also, there are instructions that come up on your screen when you load them,
into memory. The two files on disk are:
1. PUMP.EXE
2. HEAL.EXE
PUMP.EXE:
To install, copy to your "root" directory. (ie: C:\)
To load into memory, boot computer, and type PUMP. (instructions will
appear on screen)
To activate after entering TSOY, go to pump room door, stand directly
in front of door, then hit "F12" key.
Then stand back and LOOK OUT! (it will save automatically every 1
million exp's)
NOTE**** This will not work on some faster computers. You will get an orange
colored screen saying "RPG ERROR' if it will not work. It works on
my 386dx-40, but not on my 486dx-50. Also, if you do get errors,
try to slow down computer via "turbo" button, use it late at night\
early morning(less crowded), and ALWAYS use in least crowded area
of Yserbius. If you follow these hints, you will have LESS of a
chance of getting error messages on screen.
HEAL.EXE:
To install, copy to your "root" directory (ie: C:\)
To load into memory, boot computer, then type HEAL. (instructions will
appear on screen)
To activate in TSOY, you must have a mana restore set already. This
uses you heal "SPELL" instead of potion to heal anyone in party FAST! I've
never used it yet, so follow on-screen instructions. I hear it works great
though, especially in the rivers, when heal speed is important (and tedious)
Both of these TSR's use memory, so be sure you have enough "conventional"
available to run TSOY. You can also add these to AUTOEXEC.BAT file to load
automatically, and HIGH everytime you boot up. I just load into memory when I
enter TSN as needed.
Glad to be of assistance. If you have any trouble, write my box on TSN, or
find me on-line. Good to hear from ya again, and I'll be lookin' for ya on
TSN.
