EDITOR'S PAGE
Once again, I bring another issue of Shadowbuzz out. Sometimes
I wonder why I put myself through this hassle, writing all this stuff
up, thinking it up, organizing it, editing it, then worrying about
whether or not it's done correctly, or if people like it.
Part of this problem is that people aren't giving me feedback.
I don't understand why, so I will plead yet again for feedback. If you
are reading this file, go on to read the rest of the files in this
issue. If you like this one, make sure you have the other issues of
Shadowbuzz...currently there should be five previous issues, and this
one. Look where you got this issue for the others.
Once you've done that, contact me. Write a letter and Snail
mail it to me. As I am a writer, I love to correspond via text, and I
make a great penpal if you badger me enough in the letter to respond to
you in this century. If you don't mind the long distance charges, or
are local to my phone number, call me. I'll talk for hours and hours
about things.
Or be technological. I have Internet access, and can get
Internet mail. I am also on a number of local message bases in the
Atlanta BBS area, and on several "international" echo message bases that
bounce around the States and/or the world. Look in the trek bases for
me, then start checking any bases that might deal with Shadowrun,
cyberpunk genre or even RPGs...I always sign off as Nightstalker, so you
could get lucky.
If you like this, let me know. If you don't like this, let me
know. If you could care less about this, could you find it into your
apathetic heart to let me know anyways? :) In short, feedback! I need
it, I want it.
My gaming group has given me just tons of great ideas for things
to do, almost to the point where I'm starting to despair over the number
that I have that I can't do yet. But that's good...means I get to
concentrate on doing rather than on what to be doing.
If you don't contact me, I don't know what you'd want to see in
future issues of Shadowbuzz. Perhaps you like the way my devious little
mind works with regard to my technical features, and want more than I've
been doing. Ok, tell me that, and slot a few ideas into my head that I
can write up and attribute to you.
If you like how my ingeniously bastardized personality and
thought processes handle roleplaying and characters with regard to my
character/roleplaying features, and want more, tell me. Even slot a few
ideas as to what you'd like to see me cover, and again I'll give full
credit for the inspiration of it all.
Or get really chummy, and slot a whole article. That's right, a
complete text in ready to publish form. I'll take it, run it through my
spell checker, and probably add a comment or two of my own, and it'll be
into a new issue of Shadowbuzz. And again, you get the credit.
I'm just about done begging, so I'll bring it to a close. I
have fun doing Shadowbuzz, I have fun whipping things up and putting
them into text form for all to see. I have fun putting my thoughts down
on disk about various subjects for all to see. But I have even more fun
talking and responding to people about what I've done, and what I'd like
to do, and what they'd like to do and have done. So talk to me!
I am the Nightstalker, thank you for your time.
