SEEKER-PC is a Computer-Aided Communications Monitoring System for modern
communications receivers. SEEKER-PC includes the SEEKER-PC Receiver Control
Program and the SEEKER-PC Interface. The SEEKER-PC Interface connects your
receiver to the personal computer and provides tape recorder/logging
device control and analog signal measurement of communications signal strength.
SEEKER-PC is not shareware. SEEKER-PC is a commercial product. This
demonstration program is designed to give potential users an idea of the
power and applications of SEEKER-PC.

This demonstration includes several files. If you have an original disk
the files will be found in the root directory and in two subdirectories.
If you received the group of files from a BBS, you should copy the files
to the following directory/subdirectory structure. (It is not necessary
to store the database files in a separate subdirectory, only recommended.)
The contents of the file have been archived using the ZIP format. If you
wish to have the PKUNZIP program re-create the directory structure, execute
the command:
PKUNZIP SEEKER-1.ZIP -d
The complete demonstration includes the following files:

The demonstration can be run from the distribution disk but you should make
a backup copy first. The functioning database manager in the demonstration
will allow you to change, and potentially erase the information on the
distribution disk.
The SETUP (configuration) file for the demonstration system is set to
run from drive A:. If you will be running from any other drive or if you
place the database files in a subdirectory other than the default
"SEEKER\DATA" subdirectory, you should do the following. First, make the
subdirectory which contains the program and support files the default by
changing to the drive and using the CD command. Next, start the program
and enter the path to your data files in the DATA PATH command under the
SETUP pull-down menu. You should then select New Setup Save in the SETUP
pull-down menu. (See the DEMO.PRN file for additional information.)
