  12.   SEEKER-PC is a Computer-Aided Communications Monitoring System for modern
  13. communications receivers.  SEEKER-PC includes the SEEKER-PC Receiver Control
  14. Program and the SEEKER-PC Interface.  The SEEKER-PC Interface connects your
  15. receiver to the personal computer and provides tape recorder/logging 
  16. device control and analog signal measurement of communications signal strength.

  18.   SEEKER-PC is not shareware.  SEEKER-PC is a commercial product.  This 
  19. demonstration program is designed to give potential users an idea of the
  20. power and applications of SEEKER-PC.

  24.   This demonstration includes several files.  If you have an original disk
  25. the files will be found in the root directory and in two subdirectories.
  26. If you received the group of files from a BBS, you should copy the files
  27. to the following directory/subdirectory structure.  (It is not necessary
  28. to store the database files in a separate subdirectory, only recommended.)

  30.   The contents of the file have been archived using the ZIP format.  If you
  31. wish to have the PKUNZIP program re-create the directory structure, execute
  32. the command:

  72.   The demonstration can be run from the distribution disk but you should make
  73. a backup copy first.  The functioning database manager in the demonstration
  74. will allow you to change, and potentially erase the information on the
  75. distribution disk.
  76.  
  77.   The SETUP (configuration) file for the demonstration system is set to 
  78. run from drive A:.  If you will be running from any other drive or if you
  79. place the database files in a subdirectory other than the default 
  80. "SEEKER\DATA" subdirectory, you should do the following.  First, make the
  81. subdirectory which contains the program and support files the default by 
  82. changing to the drive and using the CD command.  Next, start the program 
  83. and enter the path to your data files in the DATA PATH command under the 
  84. SETUP pull-down menu.  You should then select New Setup Save in the SETUP 
  85. pull-down menu.  (See the DEMO.PRN file for additional information.)
