  2. To modify ur TS430 to transmit on MARS and CAP frequencies:

  4. Easy method --
  5.  
  6. 1. Find D 39 and D 40 on the RF board
  7.  
  8. 2. Lift one end of both off board.
  9.  
  10.  
  11. Alternate method:
  12.  
  13. 1. Disconnect PIN 2 of connector 10 (TXI) on RF board.
  14.  
  15. 2. Remove Q 22 on RD board.
  16.  
  17. Either of the above modifications gives 1500 kc to 30 mhz
  18. transmit.
