Find a flat piece  of  steel  at
least  1/8"  and  less than 1/4"
thick. Support the piece so that
you can cut it  in  two  without
the  pieces  falling  after they
are cut.

STEP 2
Open  the  tank  valves  and set
the acetylene pressure to 7 or 8
psi. Set the oxygen  pressure to
50 psi.
   Open  the oxygen valve on the
main  body of  the  torch fully.

cutting   attachment  until  you
barely hear some oxygen flowing.
Open the acetylene  valve on the
main torch until  the  volume of
the sound doubles.
