Join two pieces  of  steel  at a
right angle.  You'll notice some
of the effects of gravity on the
puddle.  You  may  have  trouble
getting good  penetration of the
bottom piece while the top piece
melts away.  To counteract this,
modify  your  torch   motion  to
focus  more  heat  on the bottom
piece.~

    Sometimes the angle reflects
so  much  heat back to the torch
tip that you  have  to turn down
the gas flow to keep  the  flame
from blowing out.~
