VIEWFAX
Viewfax is a program for the IBM PC which will allow you to view (on a color
monitor) FAX picture files which were captured with the PK232. This program
was written by Jerry Stuckle, AI0K, and is being distributed by WDCG (Wake
Digital Communications Group) to amateur radio operators free of charge.
To use Viewfax, ensure that your color monitor and CGA is installed, then
type VIEWFAX. You will be prompted for a filename for display. This filename
can include a path if you like. In a few seconds the WEFAX map or other
picture will be displayed starting with the upper left hand corner. You can
change the part of the picture you are viewing with the cursor control keys.
Q = Quit Viewfax and return to DOS
I = toggles display picture Inverse (negative) and back again
L = Load a new FAX file.
Left arrow = Move picture to the right one increment
Right arrow = Move picture to the left one increment
Up arrow = Move picture down one increment
Down arrow = Move picture up one increment
Home = Go to the top of the file (might be more than one picture/file)
End = Go to the bottom of the file (might be more than one picture/file)
Ctrl-right arrow = Move picture several increments to the left
Ctrl-left arrow = Move picture several increments to the right
This is a first release of VIEWFAX and Jerry would like your comments and
suggestions about functions for it. Please address any suggestions and
comments to Jerry Stuckle, AI0K @ WA4LPD (Raleigh, NC 27600)
