  9. 1) REQUIREMENTS

  11.       386/33 or greater IBM PC compatible
  12.       VGA graphics card
  13.       550K free base memory
  14.       4 Mb of free memory
  15.       CD-ROM drive
  16.       Sound Card ( optional )

  19. 2) INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  21.    Type the letter of your cd drive.
  22.       d:<enter>
  23.  
  24.    Type install to run the installation program.
  25.       install<enter>
  26.  
  27.    You will be asked to select and test a sound card and music device.
  28.    After this your configuration has been saved to your C: drive for
  29.    future use by the game.

  31.    To run the game type hurl.
  32.       hurl<enter>

  34. 3) TROUBLE SHOOTING

  36.    NOT ENOUGH MEMORY!
  37.    If you are really low on memory Try:
  38.         hurl4meg<enter>
  39.    While you may have the 4Mb needed to run the game is it actually free?
  40.    Some programs like SMARTDRV.EXE can take 2Mb or more.  Remove it from
  41.    you config.sys and reboot.

  43.    MS DOS 6.0 contains MEMMAKER which can help you configure your system
  44.    better.

  46.    HEY, IT CRASHED!
  47.    Boot with a minimum configuration to free up as much memory as possible.
  48.    Your config file should look something like this:
  49.       FILES=20
  50.       BUFFERS=20
  51.       DEVICE=C:\DOS\HIMEM.SYS
  52.       DOS=HIGH
  53.  
  54.    THE SOUND DOESN'T WORK!
  55.    If you have a SoundBlaster compatible card select the SoundBlaster
  56.    clone driver and try again.  Otherwise you can run H.U.R.L without
  57.    sound by starting it as follows:
