OCR: OWLS OWLS FEED by hunting small animals, EAR TUFTS and most of them catch their prey at FORWARD- night. They have excellent hearing, FACING EYES and many have fringed flight feathers, which help silence their approach. Owls' eyes are among the most sensitive in the bird world. They are large, forward-pointing eyes, which are able to see well in very low MOTTLED light levels. There are about 146 PLUMAGE species of owls, and they are found throughout the world, with the exception of Antarctica. EURASIAN EAGLE OWL POWERFUL This is the world's largest LEGS AND FEET owl, measuring up to 2 feet 6 inches (76 cm) long. It sometimes preys on other owls.
