   ocr: TOMB PAINTING N. ANCIENT EGYPT, Netermmat, the son of Pharaoh (King) Snofru, was buried with his wife Itet in an elaborate mud-brick tomb at Maidum. Snofru was the first king of the 4th dynasty (about 2613 BC-2494 BC). Netermmat's tomb was decorated with many splendid paintings, including this one showing two red-breasted geese and a bean goose. The painting was discovered by the French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette and is now housed in the Cairo Museum.
