  3. CHANGES FROM RELEASE 2 DATED 09/12/91
  4.     Release 3 corrects problem with installing to 2 360k
  5. floppies in releases 1 and 2.  There are no other changes.
  6.  
  7. REQUIREMENTS FOR INSTALLATION
  8.     The SPELLBOUND! Spelling Tutor requires 384k free memory,
  9. DOS 3.00 or above, CGA, EGA, or VGA monitor (or Hercules (R) card
  10. with a CGA simulation program), two floppy disk drives OR one of
  11. the following single drive systems: Hard drive, 720k floppy,
  12. 1.2meg floppy, 1.44meg floppy.

  14. EASY INSTALLATION!
  15.     Just type: "INSTALL" and press ENTER.  Read all instructions
  16. given in the install program very carefully!
  17.  
  18. SPECIAL NOTE: SPELLING TUTOR NOT DATE-LIMITED.  NO "TIME WORMS"!
  19.     This is the second release of version 2.10 as some persons
  20. mistook the phrase "time-worn device" (used as a joke in the
  21. previous versions of the Spelling Tutor) as "time-worm device"
  22. and thought that the Spelling Tutor would perform damage if used
  23. beyond the evaluation period.  The Spelling Tutor has ALWAYS
  24. continued to work after the license period has expired, while
  25. reminding you to please register.

  27. NEW FEATURES IN VERSION 2.10!!!
  28. 1.) FILE MANAGER allows you to more easily manage lists and
  29.     files!
  30. 2.) LONGER WORD LENGTHS of up to 36 characters allowed!
  31. 3.) You may now SHUFFLE THE ORDER OF WORDS within a set so that
  32.     they are not always presented in the same order!
  33. 4.) A SPECIAL GIFT for our registered users -- WORD SEARCH
  34.     PUZZLES!!!

  36. AUTOMATIC REGISTRATION FOR PREVIOUS REGISTERED USERS!
  37.     The INSTALL program will transfer your registration from
  38. your old version in the 2.xx series to the new copy when you
  39. install the new version over the old one.  Do not delete your old
  40. installation as this will destroy your old registration. If you
  41. have modified your copies of SPELL.WDS, GRADE2.WDS, or
  42. GRADE3.WDS, be sure to make backups as the INSTALL program will
  43. overwrite these with the new versions.
  44.     Your records will all be preserved for use by the new
  45. version!
