GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION:
For readers, students, and teachers of American history, THE LOST CHURCHILL
LIBRARY presents the historical novels of Winston Churchill in illustrated
book format. Modernized and adapted for the computer, version 1.0 offers
SERAPIS: CAUGHT BY THE TIDE, the first book in a four-book Serapis set about
the American Revolution. Illustrated with over 150 color PCX files, book one
is freeware, with books two through four available for purchase from the
author.
Book one is fully equivalent in length, amount of illustration, and
documentation with books two through four. Each book highlights a different
aspect of the revolutionary era (1--colonial society, 2--British society,
3--the English elite, 4--naval warfare).
The program also contains information about the efforts of the AMERICAN
HISTORY COOPERATIVE to save America's history classics in computer format.
Requires 512K, a hard disk with 1.8 Mb free disk space, and EGA/VGA. A
mouse is optional.
