  5.  1st Amendment

  7.  Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of
  8.  religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or
  9.  abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the
  10.  right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition
  11.  the government for a redress of <« grievances »>.

  13.  2nd Amendment

  15.  A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free
  16.  state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be
  17.  infringed.

  19.  3rd Amendment

  21.  No soldier shall, in time of peace, be quarters in any house,
  22.  without the consent of the owner; nor in time of war, but in a
  23.  manner to be prescribed by law.

  25.  4th Amendment

  27.  The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses,
  28.  papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures,
  29.  shall not be violated; and no warrants shall issue, but upon
  30.  probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and
  31.  particularly describing the place to be searched and the persons
  32.  or things to be seized.

  34.  5th Amendment

  36.  No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise
  37.  infamous, crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a
  38.  grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces,
  39.  or in the militia, when in actual service, in time of war, or
  40.  public danger; nor shall any person be subject, for the same
  41.  offence, to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall
  42.  be compelled, in any criminal case, to be a witness against
  43.  himself; nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without
  44.  due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public
  45.  use, without just compensation.

  47.  6th Amendment

  49.  In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to 
  50.  a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and
  51.  district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which
  52.  district shall have been previously ascertained by law; and to be
  53.  informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be
  54.  confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory
  55.  process for obtaining witnesses in his favor; and to have the
  56.  assistance of counsel for his defence.

  60.  In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall
  61.  exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be
  62.  preserved; and no fact, tried by a jury, shall be otherwise
  63.  re-examined in any court of the United States than according to
  64.  the rules of the common law.

  66.  8th Amendment

  68.  Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines
  69.  imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishment inflicted.

  73.  The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be
  74.  construed to deny or <« disparage »> others retained by the people.

  78.  The powers not delegated to the United States shall not be
  79.  construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or
  80.  prosecuted against one of the United States by citizens of another
  81.  State or by citizens or subjects of any foreign state.
