  5. Thanks for trying Mister Clean for Windows. This program is released as
  6. shareware. If you like it and intend to continue using it, please refer
  7. to the online help for instructions on how to register.

  18. MRCLEAN.EXE    Any directory.  Must be located with MRCLEAN.HLP.

  24. IMPORTANT NOTE: Mister Clean is a Visual Basic application.  Because of
  25. this, it is necessary to have the file VBRUN300.DLL in your PATH. 
  26. Normally, this file is located in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory with most
  27. other DLLs.  This file can be found on most BBS's and other online
  28. services as well as from most computer user groups.

  31. Creating the icon
  32. -----------------
  33. If you already know how to install a Windows application, then place the 
  34. executable file (MRCLEAN.EXE) wherever you like.  Otherwise, copy the 
  35. program file into your Windows directory and run Windows.  Then, 
  36. follow these steps:

  38.     1. In the Program Manager, open your Accessories icon ( if it is not 
  39.        already open ).
  40.  
  41.     2. Select the File menu in the menu bar of the Program 
  42.        Manager and make the New... selection
  43.  
  44.     3. When the dialog box opens, press the OK button.
  45.  
  46.     4. If you are using Windows 3.1, at this point you need to
  47.        press the BROWSE button to open the file selector.
  48.        Use the controls in this window to display the directory
  49.        that contains the files in the Mister Clean archive.

  51.     5. In the file selector, scroll down the list.  
  52.        Double click on MRCLEAN.EXE.
  53.  
  54.     6. In the next dialog that appears, press Change Icon.  If the 
  55.        icon shown is not acceptable, press the View Next button until
  56.        a more appropriate icon is displayed.  When you are ready,
  57.        press OK and OK again.

  59. The Mister Clean icon should now appear in your Accessories group.  The 
  60. program can be run by double clicking on the new icon.
