  6. Instructions:

  8. Launcher is a Windows application excecutive. You can enter the filename 
  9. and it's path in Launcher's Command Line and hit return or hit the Ok button 
  10. to run that program. If you do not remember the file's path, you can search 
  11. for if using the listboxes. The "Directories:" list box contains path and 
  12. drive information while the "Files:" listbox contains the files for the 
  13. selected path. Selection can be done with the keyboard or the mouse.

  15. Launcher can be used as a replacement for the Program Managers File Run 
  16. dialog box. Because it is a window and not a modal dialog box, it is always 
  17. available with the addition feature of being able to let you find the file 
  18. if need be. For more information run Launcher and look at it's Help system.

  21. Registration and License Agreement
  22.  
  23. The use of Launcher is subject to the following terms and conditions:

  25. Launcher is copyrighted material, protected by the copyright laws of
  26. the United States. You may not make any changes or modifications,
  27. decompile, disassemble, or otherwise reverse-engineer the software
  28. in any way.
  29.  
  30. Launcher can be used on a trial basis provided the user does not violate
  31. the protection afforded the licensed software by the copyright laws, 
  32. and the user agrees to the terms of the license agreement. If the user
  33. continues to use Launcher past a 15 day evaluation period the user is 
  34. obligated to purchase a license.
  35.  
  36. Launcher can be used on a Local Area Network provided that a license is 
  37. obtained for the number of users that may concurrently use the software.

  51. Title to the licensed software is NOT transferred to the end user. The 
  52. end user is granted an exclusive license to use the software on one
  53. computer at any given time.

  55. Limited Warranty
  56.  
  57. Beacon Hill Software does not warrant that the licensed software will meet
  58. any requirements or that the operation of the software will be uninterrupted 
  59. or error free. The warranty does not cover any media or documentation which
  60. has been subject to damage or abuse by you or others. The software warranty
  61. does not cover any copy of the licensed software which has been altered or
  62. changed in any way.

  64. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT ABILITY OR
  65. FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED TO THE TERM OF THE EXPRESS
  66. WARRANTIES. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied
  67. warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

  69. The warranties set forth above are in lieu of any and all other express
  70. or implied warranties, whether oral, written, or implied, and the remedies
  71. set forth above are the sole and exclusive remedies.

  73. Beacon Hill Software is not responsible for any problems or damages caused
  74. by the licensed software that may result from using the licensed software.
  75. This includes, but is not limited to, computer hardware, computer software,
  76. operating systems, and any computer or computing accessories. End user agrees
  77. to hold Beacon Hill Software harmless for any problems arising from the user 
  78. of the software.

  80. Beacon Hill Software SHALL NOT IN ANY CASE BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, 
  81. INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT OR OTHER SIMILAR DAMAGES ARISING FROM
  82. ANY BREACH OF THESE WARRANTIES EVEN IF Beacon Hill Software OR ITS AGENTS
  83. OR DISTRIBUTORS HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. Some
  84. states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
  85. damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

  87. In no case shall Beacon Hill Software's liability exceed the license fees
  88. paid for the right to use the licensed software.

  90. Distribution
  91.  
  92. Users are granted a limited license to copy Launcher only for the trial use
  93. by others subject to the terms of this software license agreement described
  94. herein, and the conditions described below are met:

  96. Launcher MUST be copied in and unmodified form and MUST contain the following
  97. files:

  99.    Launcher.EXE
  100.    Launcher.HLP
  101.    Launcher.TXT
  102.    BHSCC.DLL
  103.  
  104. No fee, charge or other compensation may be accepted or requested by
  105. anyone without the express written permission of Beacon Hill Software.
  106.  
  107. Public Domain Disk Vendors, Shareware Disk Vendors and Distributors of public
  108. domain and user supported software  may not charge a fee for Launcher itself. 
  109. However, you may include Launcher on a diskette for which you charge a nominal 
  110. distribution fee. The purchaser of said diskette must be informed in advance 
  111. that the fee paid to acquire the diskette does NOT relieve said purchaser 
  112. from paying the registration fee for Launcher if said purchaser uses Launcher.
  113.  
  114. Operators of electronic bulletin board systems may post Launcher for downloading
  115. by their users without written permission only as long as the above conditions
  116. are met. A fee may be charged for access to the bbs as long as no specific fee
  117. is charged for downloading Launcher files.
