  12. Thank you for purchasing "Monster Media `93", the latest collection of 1993
  13. Public Domain and Shareware programs. We have made every effort to ensure
  14. that these discs contain *NO* duplicate programs, *NO* multiple versions of
  15. the same program and that *ALL* programs were either written or updated
  16. between May 01, 1993 and August 30, 1993.
  17.  
  18. To install the Monster Media File Viewer, change to your CD-ROM directory
  19. and type "INSTALL". Follow the prompts and the program will start up after
  20. installation if you choose to run it immediately.
  21.  
  22. Total installation requires almost 900k of hard drive space.
  23.                                     
  24.  
  25. To view the animation, GIF, PCX and MPeg files on the discs, just press the
  26. F2 key when the file you wish to view is highlighted.
  27.  
  28. By default VIEWCD uses VPic as it's image viewer. VPic v6.0g can be found
  29. in the graphics directory. VPic must be setup and in your DOS path to be
  30. used by VIEWCD.
  31.  
  32. VIEWCD uses PKZip to unzip the files on this disc. PKZip v2.04g can be found
  33. in the main CD-ROM directory. PKZip must be in your DOS path to be used by
  34. VIEWCD.
  35.  
  36. IMPORTANT!  To speed up the loading of the various file listings while in
  37. ViewCD, it is suggested that the buffers in MSCDEX be set for 18 or more.
  38. This will greatly decrease loading time.
  39.  
  40. The main directory contains various file structures that you may use to
  41. convert to your BBS program (if you're running one).

  114.         Contains the entire Monster Media file listings suitable for users to
  115.         download or to print up extra Monster Media File books.

  118. Included in several of the BBS directories are utilities to directly convert
  119. the Monster Media file listings to a specific BBS format. Please check the
  120. directory of the BBS you are interested in. A utility to convert Monster Media
  121. listings to the TRIBBS format is included in the main CD directory.
